The Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Partners to Provide its database, members, family and friends with "Free" Prescription Drug Card
PRESS RELEASE

LONG BEACH, CA - In an effort to help lower the costs of health care, specifically prescription drugs, the Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (RHCC) is proud to introduce the RHCC Drug Card Program. Beginning today it will distribute "FREE" discount prescription drug cards to all its members, database, employees, their families and the residents of California and the USA.

As a subscriber of the RHCC or resident of Southern California you can download your free prescription drug card by visiting www.RegionalHispanicCC.org There are no eligibility requirements to receive the benefits. The only information needed to download a pre-activated card is first and last name - email is optional. Take the card with your prescription to your favorite pharmacy and receive an instant discount.

Everyone is eligible to participate in the RHCC Drug Card Program. There are no restrictions to membership, no income requirements, no age limit, and no applications to fill out. All card holders can receive savings of up to 75 percent (savings average around 30 percent) at more than 50,000 national and regional pharmacies. Participating pharmacies include but are not limited too CVS, Giant, Kmart, as well as thousands of independent pharmacies.

"We are pleased to offer this program to all our members. Expenses related to health care can be daunting without proper insurance so it's important that members of the Chamber who need access to prescription drugs take advantage of this program", said Sandy Cajas, President of the Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The RHCC Drug Card Program was launched to help the uninsured and underinsured residents of our area afford their prescription medications. The program can also be used by people who have health insurance coverage with no prescription benefits, which is common in many health savings accounts and high deductible health plans. Additionally, people who have prescription coverage can use this program for non-formulary or non-covered drugs.

The RHCC Drug Card can also be used by individuals who do not qualify for publicly funded programs, such as Medicaid and Medicare. Medicare Part D receipts can use the card while in the "donut hole" and also to purchase medications not covered by their plan. The program will even cover some pet medications that are purchased at a pharmacy.
